The ST1 is Switch Bowling's mechanical pinsetter, approved for official competition use. It remains available for projects that require a traditional mechanical foundation.

Our recommendation: SHIELD machines
For the vast majority of projects (new builds, renovations, mini-bowling), we now recommend SHIELD string machines. They offer lower operating costs, simplified maintenance and have been competition-approved since 2020. The ST1 remains relevant for specific contexts.
